FITZGERALD (née Behan) Mary Elizabeth (May), 9th August 2021, Butterfield, Rathfarnham, D.14. Peacefully, at her daughter’s residence, after an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her sister Joan and brother Paddy. Beloved wife of Michael, loving and much-loved mother of Maria, Michael Jr., and Patricia. May will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken husband and family, son-in-law Diarmuid, Conor, daughter-in-law Louise, her adored grandchildren Eoin, Aishling, Emily, Kate, Rachel, Rebecca and Shane, brother Peter (Italy), sister Josie, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
In line with Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a small private family funeral will be held (50 people). May’s Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 10am in The Church of The Annunciation, Rathfarnham.
