Mary Ellen Callaghan
(née Cawley)

Mary Ellen passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family in her 95th year.

Predeceased by her husband Sonny, infant daughter Binie, grandchildren Adam, Ian and Thea. Brothers Mick (Bunnanertish), Paddy and Sean (London), sisters Bridgie Higgins (Knockmore) and Margaret Kilcullen (Screen).

Mary Ellen will be greatly missed by her children Breege (Lennon), Mary (Sweeney), Michael, Ann (Browne) and John, her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and adored grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great great granddaughter Harper, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Remains reposing at Hiney's Funeral Home, Crossmolina (F26Dh95) this Sunday evening from 6pm with removal at 7.30pm to the Church of Our Lady, Kilmurry. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
