Mary Ellen (Maura) (Retired NT) passed away in her ninety-eighth year, on April 18, 2026, in the loving embrace of her daughter Anne, at Stella Maris Nursing Home, Cummer, Tuam. Deeply loved and mourned by her daughter Anne (Galway), sons Fr. David (Weybridge, Surrey), Peter and Robert (Galway), her nieces and nephews, grandchildren, family, and friends.

May she be reunited with her loved ones who have predeceased her; her husband, Thomas (Tom), and siblings Patrick, Michael, Robert (Carlow) and Jane (Tipperary).

' In pastures green, he leadeth me.'

Maura will lie in Repose at ‘Aras Naofa’ within the grounds of the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore from 5.30 p.m. Removal to the Church at 7.00 p.m. (H91 PX95)

Thursday, 23rd April 2026
