FITZGERALD; Mary “Island View”, Ballygibbon, Mogeely, Co. Cork and formerly of Marley, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. On July 11th 2025, (aged 82 years), peacefully at Marymount Hospice Cork, surrounded by her loving family, Mary (Nee Hayes), loving wife of the late Patrick (Paddy), mother of the late Patrick, sister of the late Christopher, Little Sylvester and the recently deceased Eileen McCarthy.

Much loved mother of Bobby, Maria (Griffin), Michael, Noreen (Cashman), Josephine (McGrath), James, Colette (Barry), Eoin, brothers James and Pat Hayes, sisters Nancy Doyle and Peggy Hendrick, mother-in-law of Grainne, Martin, Pauline, Patsy, Brendan, Stephen and Christine.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, her 21 grandchildren, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of cousins and friends.

May Mary Rest In Peace.

Lying in repose at her home “Island View”, Ballygibbon,

Mogeely, Co. Cork (eircode P25 FX31)

on Sunday evening July 13th from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

Mary’s Funeral cortege will leave the family home on Monday morning

July 14th at 11.15am, to the Sacred Heart Church, Mogeely

for 12.00 noon Funeral Mass.

Mary will be laid to rest beside her loving husband Paddy and

beloved son Patrick in Mogeely Old Cemetery.
