Mary Fitzgerald

The death has occurred of Mary Fitzgerald, Mochara, Shrule, Co. Mayo and Western Care, Castlebar. Peacefully on the 20th of February 2026 in the care of the staff of Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her father Martin, sister Carmel and uncle Pat.

 

Mary will be dearly missed and forever loved by her mum Mary, brother Paddy, sister Ann, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Paddy, nephews; David, Eamonn and Cormac, nieces; Cathy, Ailish, Áine and Tara and extended family of the Western Care Association.

Mary will repose at Cradock's Funeral Home, Shrule (H91RF1C) on Monday the 23rd of February 2026 from 6pm to 8pm. Removal afterwards to her brother Paddy's Home in Mochara. Funeral Mass on Tuesday February 24th at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Shrule with burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on http://shruleglencorrib.com/webcam/ and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 F.M.
