The death has occurred of Mary Flood (nee Walsh) Leam, Recess - Cloosh House and The Mayfly Inn, Oughterard. Peacefully on Sunday the 8th of November 2020, surrounded by her family and dearly loved by so many. Sadly missed by her husband Mike, sons Ronan and Daniel, sisters Geraldine, Barbara, and Pauline, brothers Padraic, Seamus, Michael, Kevin, and Marty, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.

The funeral cortege will leave her home in Leam for a private requiem mass on Wednesday, the 11th of November, 2020 at 11 o'clock in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard, with burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard. 

Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, Mary's funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing as recommended by government guidelines.  If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honor please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
