MARY GATELY (née Mullooly) Gailey, Knockcroghery, Co Roscommon. January 3rd, 2022. (Peacefully); at her residence, surrounded by her family. She will be very sadly missed by her beloved husband Malachy Snr., daughters Kay Kelly (Moore), Marie (Headford), Malachy Jnr., Sean and Tom, brothers Emmet (Birmingham) and Olly (Manchester), sister Eilish (Culleen), grandchildren James Jnr., Claire, Edel, Kevin, David, Robbie, Barry, Shane, Maeve, Juliette, Rachel, Sophia and Tom Óg, sons-in-law James and Kevin, daughters-in-law Cathy, Therese and Nicola, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. Mary is predeceased by her mother Annie Kate, father Tom, brothers Vincent and Gerry.

May Mary rest in peace.


Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Tuesday evening from 5 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery arriving at 7 o’c (walk through only please). Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 12.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in Gailey Cemetery. For those wishing to offer their sympathies, we suggest using the online condolence link below.
