The death has occurred of Mary Gavigan (née Noonan), Killynon, Cooke, Cloughan, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, 8th April 2026, Surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cluain Lir Care Centre, Mullingar.

Predeceased by her parents Maura and Patrick, her brother Michael, and her son-in-law Andy.

Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Malachy, her children Vivienne, Martin, Paul, Andrea and Dermot, her son-in-law Joe, daughters-in-law Trish, Karen and Majella, her sisters Kay, Phil, Eveline, Patricia and Noreen, brothers Nicholas and Paddy, uncle Michael, adored grandchildren David, Adam, Andrew, Connor, Hazel, Ella Mae, Nathan, Lauren, Chloe, Ciarán, Killian, Seán, Aoife, Niall and Katie, great-grandchildren Tori, Jamie, Emily, Harry, Charlie, Páidí and Ógie, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

 

A life well-lived and a soul well-loved.

Reposing in Shaw’s Funeral Home, Bishopsgate, Street, Mullingar (N91 RY65) on Friday (10th April) from 4.30pm concluding with prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral mass Saturday (11th April) in St.Joseph’s Church Turin (N91 TW44) at 11.30am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
