(née Cusack)

Mary Gibbons (neé Cusack), 31st January 2023, Davitt’s Terrace, Castlebar and formerly of Glenisland, (in her 97th year) peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff at Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home, Castlebar. Predeceased by her husband Bill and her son Séan.

Deeply regretted by her daughters Chris (O’Brien) and Marian (Langan), son Liam (UK), sons-in-law Seamus (O’Brien) and Tom (Langan), daughters-in-law Carmel and Ann, 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace Mary

Remains reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to her residence, Davitt’s Terrace, Castlebar. Removal on Saturday morning from her residence at 11.15am for Funeral Mass at 12noon in Church of the Holy Rosary, Glenisland, followed by burial afterwards in Glenisland Cemetery.

Family flowers only, by request, donations, if desired, to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
