The death has occurred of Mary Gielty (née Reilly), Keel, Achill, Co. Mayo; formerly of Cloonisle, Cashel, Co. Galway. 2nd April 2026, peacefully in Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Devoted and loving wife to Anthony. Mother of Anne, Brian, Fiona and Kevin. Mother-in-Law to Pat and Janice. Grandmother to cherished grandchildren, Ciara and Lisa. Will be deeply missed by sisters Margaret and Ann, brother John, sisters-in-law Bridie and Rita, brothers-in-law Marty and Peter, nieces and nephews, and by the extended Gielty and Reilly families, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Pre-deceased by parents Jim and Annie Reilly, twin brother James, brothers Patrick, Mick, Owen, and Martin, and sister Bridie.
Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Achill Sound, (F28 HN81) Co. Mayo on Monday 6th April from 5.00pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church. Pollagh, Achill ,arriving at 7.00pm . Funeral Mass at 11am on Tuesday 7th April followed by burial at Slievemore Cemetery, Achill.
