In her 97th year, Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of The Galway Hospice.

Pre-deceased by her husband Stephen, daughter, Marian, brothers, Tom and John and her sister Bridie Hartigan.

Mary will be sadly missed by her sons Sean and Stevie, daughters-in-law, Margaret and Tricia, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister Peggy (Loughlin Loughrea), brother-in-law (PJ), and sister-in-law (Kathleen), nieces, nephews, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Her good friend and home help Sheila.

Mary will lie in repose at Our Lady’s Chapel Lackagh (H65 N129) on Tuesday 10th March from 5:30pm with removal to her residence at 7pm.

Mass for Mary will take place in Our Lady of Knock Church Lackagh on Wednesday 11th March at 2pm

Burial afterwards in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery
