Mary Guinan, (née Maloney) Russellspenn, Rath, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly Ballybritt, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.

Mary passed away peacefully at her son John’s residence, surrounded by her loving family, on March 13th, 2026, in her 97th year.

Predeceased by her parents William and Mary, husband Tom, infant son Thomas, daughter Emby, daughter-in-law Veronica, brothers Joe and Billy and sister Chrissie Nixon.

Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter Teresa (Dundalk) and son John (Rath), her sons in law; Sean Minnock and Pat Molloy, her sisters; Bridie Quegan (Killyon) and Peggy Guilfoyle (Killeen), her grandchildren; Sandra, Sarah, Laura, Shane, Ann Marie, Jonathan, Thomas and Ciaran, her great grandchildren; Jamie and Calum; brother-in-law George, nieces & nephews, cousins, relatives, great neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

May she Rest In Peace.

Mary will repose in Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42YF75) on Sunday 15th, from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 16th at 11am. in St. John’s Church, Rath. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Tom in St. James Cemetery, Eglish.
