Mary Halligan
(née Looney)
HALLIGAN (Marble Park, Riverstown, Glanmire, Cork): On December 29th, 2023, unexpectedly, but peacefully, in the presence of her loving family at the Cork University MARY (née Looney), dearly beloved wife of the late Purty, much loved mam of James, Jackie (Dennehy), Eileen and Deirdre (Feerick), adored nan of Jenny, David, Alan, Liza, Jemma, Liam, Daisy, Tom and James, gran-nan of Trevor, David, Leo, Rylee and Reegan, dear sister of Ellen, Pat and the late David and Noel.
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Kathy, sons-in-law Barry and Tom, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Tuesday (December 2nd) from 2.00pm to 3.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Wednesday (January 3rd) in St. Joseph’s Church, Springhill, Glanmire which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.
