Mary died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 6th 2026, in Mullingar Regional Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Johnny, sons Willie, Mike and Robert, daughter Aggie and her dear grandchildren.

Mary will be sadly missed by her family, sons Joe, Johnny, Paul, Brendan and Aaron, daughters Maire and Jackie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Jimmy, sisters Bridie, Joan, Ann, Teresa and Winnie, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her dear friends.

 

 

Loving you is easy,
We do it every day,
Missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.

Rest in Peace Mary.

 

 

Reposing in her home on Thursday 8th from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Removal to St. Matthews's Church, Ballymahon on Friday 9th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Following Mass, Mary will be laid to rest in the family plot in Shrule Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Mullingar Regional Hospital Patient Comfort Fund c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.

 

We the family of Mary would like to express our sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and all the caring staff at Mullingar Regional Hospital for their exceptional compassion, dignity, and dedication. Their support and kindness brought great comfort to Mary and to our family during a very difficult time.
