Mary Harrington

On March 21st, 2026, MARY sadly passed away in the loving care of staff at St Joseph’s Unit, Bantry General Hospital, after a long illness living with M.S., beloved daughter of the late Denny and Margaret and predeceased by her nephew Tadhg. Deeply regretted by her loving sisters, Sheila (Murphy), Siobhan (O’Sullivan), Carmel (Harrington) and Teresa (Reidy), brothers Johnny and Declan, brothers-in-law John, Denis, Joe and Mike, sisters-in-law Carol and Deirdre, her nephews David, James, Declan, Denis, Derven, Steven, Kevin, Jack, Austin and Neilie, nieces Katie, Sinead, Lisa, Margaret, Hannah, Tracey, Emma and Denise, relatives and a close circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry on Sunday March 22nd from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday March 23rd at 12noon at St Fachtna’s Church, Adrigole. Mary has donated her body to UCC Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience.
