Mary Hevehan
(née Dowd)

In her 106th year after a brief illness, in the loving care of her family, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Aileen and Larry McEntee, Leafin, Nobber, Co. Meath. Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mick), parents William & Ellen Dowd, brothers Tom, Josie & Willie and sister Eveleen (Mulvey).

Mary will be sadly missed by her daughters Marian, Aileen & Gerardine, sons Malachy & Liam, grandsons Barry, Aodhán, Fiachra, Tony & Lorcán, grand-daughters Violetta & Sophie, her adored and adoring great-grandchildren, Finn & Laura, sons-in-law Terence, Larry and Liam, daughters-in-law Jane & Grace, grand-daughters-in-law Yvonne, Lorna and Allison, her sister-in-law and best friend Kathleen Dowd, nephews, nieces, grandnephews & grandnieces, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Mary will repose at Leafin, Nobber, Co. Meath on Friday 20th February from 4pm until 8pm, and at Dempsey’s Funeral Home, Ballyforan, Co. Roscommon H53 HE63 on Sunday 22nd February from 3pm to 6pm, with removal afterwards to the Church of Christ the Good Shepherd, Four Roads, F42 P681, to arrive at 7pm. (Houses private at all other times). Funeral Mass will take place on Monday 23rd February at 11.30am in Four Roads and can be viewed on this LINK. Burial afterwards in Tisrara Cemetery.
