Mary Higgins
(née Tierney)

The peaceful death has taken place, on 14th July, at the Sacred Heart, Hospital, Castlebar, of Mary Higgins, nee Tierney, of Luí na Gréine, Claremorris and formerly of Roundfort and Tullyduff, Kilmaine, Co. Mayo. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas, (Tommy), her brother, John Pa and brother-in-law, Maurice (Chicago). Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Tom (Tullyduff) and Liam (Chicago), her daughters-in-law, Evelyn and Mary, sister, Evelyn Fitzgerald (Chicago) sister-in-law, Mary Jo Tierney (Roundfort), her grandchildren, Noel (Louise), Paul (Shanna), Lisa Higgins, Siobhan (Martin) Campbell and Liam Higgins (Chicago). Aunt of Marie McCormack, Josie McNamara, Patricia Tierney, Martina Hughes, Irene Moran, Sean Tierney, Kevin Tierney, Kevin Fitzgerald (Chicago), Mary Naughton, Martina Flannery and Ann Mahon. Great grandmother of Anthony, Isla, Nathan & Abbie Higgins. Her family are most grateful to her carers.

May Mary Rest in Peace

Reposing at Kilmaine Community Centre F31 RC95 on Sunday evening from 6p.m. to 7.30. Removal afterwards to St. Patrick's Church, Kilmaine. F31 A348. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday (17th July) at 12 noon, with funeral then proceeding to the New Cemetery, Kilmaine.
