The death has occurred of Mary Higgins, Michigan U.S.A and formally of Allenstown, Kells Co. Meath at the age of 86. Mary passed away peacefully on the 22nd May, 2025. Predeceased by her father John, mother Catherine and brother Stephen, sisters-in-law Bernadette and May, brother-in-law Eamon.
Mary will by sadly missed by her brothers John Joe, Peter, Frank, Michael and Martin, sisters Agnes (Gaughan), Roseanne (Geraghty), sisters in-law Norah, Breda and Bernadette, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends

Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon at 2pm in St. Ultan’s Church, Bohermeen (C15 W268) followed by interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery. Memorial Mass will also be offered at St. Mary Our Lady of the Snow in Milford on Saturday 5th July at 5pm.

Mary spent nearly 40 years working at General Motors, where she held a management role and made many lifelong friends. Though she lived in Michigan, Mary made frequent trips to Canada and Ireland, cherishing time spent with her family.
