The death has occured on 8th April of Mary J. McNelis (née O'Connor), Balure Lane, Coolcholly, Ballyshannon Co. Donegal and formerly of Sea Road, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful nurses and staff at Áras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home Mullinasole.
House Strictly Private
Remains will arrive in St. Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon on Friday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by interment in Cashelard Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Patients' Comfort Fund, Áras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home c/o any family member or Peter Carty Funeral Director.
The Funeral Mass will be live streamed and can be accessed on the St. Patrick's Church Ballyshannon webcam.
Mary was a cherished mother to Nollaig (Chicago), Aoife (Ballyshannon), Herman Jnr (Dublin), Tim (Australia), and Sorcha (Cavan). Mary was a devoted sister to Michael Anthony O'Connor, Tom O'Connor (predeceased), and Fidelma Murphy.
She will be deeply missed by her loving family :Herman Senior, mother-in-law Mary McNelis (Mrs. Mac) Nollaig and Clay, Herman and Liz, Tim and Sandra, Sorcha and Eugene her beloved grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins extended family, kind neighbours and many dear friends.
