The death has occurred of Mary Jane (Mai) Redican (née McGoey), Drumroosk North, Fenagh and formerly Stracklerin, Mullies, Co. Leitrim, Friday 14th Nov 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by her loving family
Predeceased by her devoted husband Seamus, parents Patrick & Catherine and brother P.J. McGoey
Mai will be sadly missed by her loving family Sharon (Ted), Adrian, Shane (Anne), Damien, Kathrina (Michael) & Ciarán, brother Matt, grandchildren Gavin, Steven, Eimear, Saoirse, Cormac, Aisling, Róise, Caoimhe, Ruaidhrí, Áine, Aoife & Cian, great grandson Tadhg, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends

Reposing at Smiths Funeral Home, High St., Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim N41 TD62 this Saturday afternoon November 15th from 4pm until 6pm. Removal from her home in Drumroosk North on Sunday morning to arrive for Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Foxfield (N41 RC99) at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Fenagh Abbey cemetery.
(Due to time constraints there will be no sympathising in the church after the Funeral Mass)
House open to family, neighbours and close friends on Saturday evening following the reposing.
