Mary Josephine (Mary Jo) Keegan (née) Shanagher, Kilcooley, Ballymoe, Co. Galway and formerly Enfield, Ballintubber, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon

Peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff of The Sacred Heart Care Home, Roscommon in the presence of her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Seamus, brothers Ned and Aidan; sisters Nuala and Olive.

Cherished mother of Colette (Obregon, USA), Yvonne (Keady, Mountmellick, Co. Laois), Cabrini (O’Keeffe, Dublin), Michelle (Dolan, Ballintubber), Miriam (Reid, Ballymoe) and Shane.

Much loved grandma of Bryan, Rebecca, Aodhan, Roisin, Alyssya, Alannah, Katie, Cathal, Adam, Charlie, Conor, Saoirse, Andrew and Oisin, sister of Ita (Keane, USA), Eileen (Gilroy, Dublin), Deirdre (Richardson, Dublin) and Declan (Ballintubber).

Sadly missed by her daughter-in-law, Pauline, sons-in-law, Eliazar (OB), Maurice, Donall, Gabriel and Glenn, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Mary Jo will repose at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe this Saturday 24th May 2025, from 5pm until 7pm.

Removal on Sunday 25th May 2025 to St. Croan's Church, Ballymoe arriving at 1pm for Funeral Mass.

Followed by burial afterwards in Kilcroan cemetery.

Family flowers only please.
