The death has occurred of Mary Joe Dennigan nee Doyle, Tomiskey, Rooskey, Dromod, (peacefully) November 22nd 2025 in the loving care of the staff at The Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey.

Pre deceased by her husband Tony, siblings Liz, Bridie, Eddie, Johnny, Mikie and Bernie

She will be very sadly missed by her niece Mary, nephew Tom Coughlan, nieces-in-law Janet and Patricia, nephew-in-law Paul, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary Joe will repose in St. Michael’s Church, Bornacoola on Tuesday from 5pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Michael’s Church, Bornacoola followed by burial in Cloonmorris cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Patient Comfort Fund, Shannon Lodge Nursing Home C/o McGowan Funeral Directors.
