Mary Josephine (Josie) Parnell (née Neary),
Coundon, Coventry, England and formerly of Ballyloughan, Castlehill,
Crossmolina, Co. Mayo.
Passed away peacefully at home in Coventry, England, on 27th March 2026,
surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband David, her parents Annie and John Neary
(Ballyloughan) and her sister Nuala.
Devoted mother of Fiona, John, Elizabeth, Clare and Siobhan. Dear mother-in-law to
David, Kirsty, Daniel, Tony and Richard. Cherished grandmother to her seventeen grandchildren
Loving sister of Anne Holland (Bray), Martin Neary (Dundrum), Christina O’Donnell (Carreroe) and Carmel Judge (Castlebar),
She will be sadly missed by all her family, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reception into Christ the King Catholic Church, Coventry, on Sunday 12th April 2026 at 6 pm
Requiem Mass on Monday 13th April 2026 at 11.00am.
Funeral Mass at the Church of Our Lady, Kilmurry, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo, on
Saturday 18th April 2026 at 11am, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
