Mary Kate Geraghty
(née Philbin)

Peacefully in her home in her 99th year, after a short illness, Mary Kate Geraghty, nee Philbin. Pre-deceased by her husband, Peter, parents, Patrick and Margaret (nee Donnelly), brothers John Joe and Paddy and cherished grandson Colm. Will be very sadly missed by her children, Sean (Castlebar), Peter (Galway), Padraig (Hawaii), Gerry (Chicago), Martin (Ballintubber), Noel (Sydney), Marian (Cong) and Margaret (Ennis). Daughters in law, Anne, Freddie, Catherine, Karla, Maggi and Sue, sons in law Pat and Mark. Beloved grandchildren, Yvonne, Lorna, Niall, Maeve, Delaney, Declan, Siobhan, Conor, Raymond, Danny, Joseph, Hugh, Noel, Fionn, Dane, Jessica, Dannielle, Ashley-May, James, Sarah, Rosin and Katie and precious great-grandchildren, George, Páidí and Croía. Sisters-in-law, Nan Geraghty (Castlebar) and Sarah Philbin (Rochester, USA), nieces, nephews neighbours and many friends. House private please.

Remains reposing at Ballintubber resource centre on Thursday evening from 5 o'clock to 7.30. Removal from her family home on Friday to Ballintubber Abbey for funeral mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
