Mary Kearns

The death has occurred of Mary Kearns, nee Gallagher, Drimindoo, Castlebar Road, Westport and formerly of London and Achill, peacefully at St Fionnan’s Nursing Home on Tuesday 20th August 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her late husband Michael, sister Catherine Mc Namara and niece Mary Angela Collins. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons Alan and Brian Daughters-in-law Michelle and Shirene, grandchildren Sofia and Ethan, nieces Teresa Gallagher, Anne Forrey, Breda Hughes, nephews Kevin, Padraig and Michael Mc Namara, her in-laws Gerald and Kathleen King, Elizabeth and Stephen Hassett, Sean and Anna Kearns and Eamon Kearns and her many relatives and friends.

Reposing in Lavelle’s Funeral Home, Cashel, Achill Island on Thursday evening from 4.30pm until 6pm with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Dookinella arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning, 23rd August at 10am with burial afterwards in Aughaval Cemetery Westport.
