It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kelly (nee Noone), Oranmore and formerly of Killoran, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the Galway Hospice on Thursday 9th October, 2025.

Sadly missed by her adored son Shane and predeceased by her beloved husband Christy and sister Betty O’Neill (Chicago). Mary will be forever loved and remembered by her cherished granddaughters Tess and Mae, her daughter in law Laura (Canavan), sister Margaret (Conneely), brothers Billy (Sligo), Marty Joe (Navan), Terence (Ballinasloe) and Tommy (Foxford), in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, loyal Oranmore and Killoran neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Mary will be reposing at her son Shane’s home, 151 Costa na Mara, Oranmore, Co. Galway (H91 C6W6) on Saturday 11th October from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Killoran, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway (H53 Y677) which may be viewed online at https://funeralslive.ie/mary-kelly-2/. Burial thereafter in the adjoining cemetery. House private Sunday morning. Family flowers only, donations if desired in memory of Mary to Galway Hospice Foundation.
