The death has occurred peacefully at her home of Mary Kilcoyne nee Tierney, Cregganacopple, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter (Petie) and loving mother of  Michael (Castlebar), Anne Hynes (Kilsallagh), Beatrice Gill (Kilsallagh), Nora Reilly (Murrisk),  Bernadette Butler (Dungarvan), Pat (Castlebar), Margaret O’Toole (Thornhill), Kathleen Canavan (Clifden), Peter (Cregganacopple), Pauline (Cregganacopple), Owen (Cloonboo, Galway), Geraldine King (Cahir, Louisburgh & Castlebar). Dearly loved sister of Beatrice  Callahan (Harwich, Mass. USA) and the late Nora Callahan (Revere Boston) and Margaret. Adored aunt of P.J Callahan (Harwich, Mass. USA) and Dr. Mary B. Kszystyniak (Plymouth, Mass. USA).

Much loved Nanny to her 38 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by sons, daughters, her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nephew, niece, sister, cousins, relatives and her many friends especially Maureen.

Reposing at her home in Cregganacopple, Louisburgh on Tuesday evening from 4pm with removal at 7pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Louisburgh arriving at 8pm.   Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Kilgeever Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Patient Comfort Fund Intensive Care Unit, Mayo General Hospital, Castlebar c/o Kilcoyne Funeral Directors.
