Mary Lannigan (née Kenny) of Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully, on Saturday 26th October 2024, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness borne with great courage and dignity. Beloved wife of the late Bill, who passed away on 10th July 2022. Loving mother of Susan and Clare, adoring Nana of Isobel and Aoileann; deeply regretted by her brother Joseph, sister Joan, son-in-law Gary, brothers-in-law Declan and Pat, sisters-in-law Jackie and Bernadette, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues past and present. Predeceased by her brothers Peter, Jimmy and Brian.
Sincere thanks to all the staff at Orwell Healthcare, St. Luke’s Hospital and Blackrock Clinic for the kind and compassionate care shown to Mary.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday 30th October from 4.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Removal from the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10.00am, travelling via her residence, to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. The Mass may also be viewed online at www.queenofpeace.ie.
