Mary Luddy
(née Flynn)
The death has taken place of Mary Luddy (née Flynn), Barrett Terrace, Killavullen, who passed away peacefully in her 95th year, surrounded by her loving family on September 8th 2024 in Fairyhill Nursing Home, Mallow, beloved wife of the late Laurence (Larry), dear mother of Colette (Fitzgibbon), Bríd, Fr. Denis C.Ss.R., Laurence (Lar), Fiona (Miller), Tom, Kevin and Brendan, and sister of the late Eddie, Noel and Mossie.
Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Noel and Paul, daughters-in-law Esther, Ann, Siobhán and Bronagh, her adored 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Bridie and Breda, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Rosary on Monday (September 9th) at 8pm in O’Connell’s Funeral Home, St. James’ Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61).
Lying in repose on Tuesday (September 10th) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 8pm.
Reception into St. Nicholas’ Church, Killavullen (P51 F853) on Wednesday (September 11th) for Requiem Mass at 11.30am which may be viewed on www.mycondolences.ie, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

The Luddy Family are deeply grateful to all in Fairy Hill Nursing Home, Mallow. We thank the management, nurses and staff who were outstanding in all they did for our mother. We also acknowledge and thank the carers who brought remarkable care and kindness to Mary in her home over the years.
