The death has occurred of Mary Lydon (née Hughes) of Old Dalgan Park, Shrule, Co. Mayo and formerly of Brackloon, Shrule on the 17th of April 2026. Peacefully with great respect from the staff of University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by her late husband Michael Patrick, her brother Mickey and sister Sarah.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Mark (Clare) and Richard, daughter-in-law Bernie, grandchildren; Stephen, David, Luke and Kevin, sisters Nancy Heneghan (Dalgan Road) and Margaret (England), nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cradock's Funeral Home, Shrule (H91RF1C) on Sunday the 19th of April from 6:30pm to 8pm. Removal afterwards to St. Joseph's Church, Shrule. Funeral Mass on Monday the 20th of April at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Shrule with burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchtv.ie/shrule/ and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 F.M.
