Henley, Oxfordshire, UK and late of High Street and Marian Terrace, Killarney.

Mary passed away on the 18th of December 2025, peacefully, but unexpectedly after a short illness.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard and loving mother to Yvonne and Malcolm who, along with his partner Catherine, Mary’s nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends, will greatly miss her laughter and her kind, loving nature.

Mary is pre-deceased by her mother Annie Fleming (nee Flynn)and her siblings Sean, Betty, Con, Pat, Christy, Anne and Della.

Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 15th January 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Henley-on-Thames at 11:30am. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on the following link Tribute to Mary Macken, 1938 - 2025

Details of the second Mass to be held at St Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney, Co. Kerry and burial of her ashes in their family grave will be added here once the date is confirmed. It is likely to be early June 2026.
