The death has occurred of Mary (Mae) Goodman (née Marron). Lisnaclea, Carrickmacross, 28th February 2021. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family. Predeceased by her husband James, her son Bernard, her grandson Noel and her brother Pat. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her daughters Bernadette, Margaret (Babington) & Patricia (McCartney), her sons Jimmy & Anthony, her sons-in-law Billy & Thomas, her daughter-in-law Majella, her 26 adored grandchildren and her 42 cherished great-grandchildren, her sister Katie (McDaniel) & her brother Phil (UK), her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

House strictly private due to Covid-19 restrictions.

In accordance with current guidelines Mae's Funeral Mass will take place privately for family only (limited to 10) in St. Peter & Paul's Church, lower Magheracloone, on Tuesday, 2nd March, at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Mae's funeral cortège leaves her home, Lisnaclea, on Tuesday morning at 10:35am, via McCartney's Cross & the Five Crosses proceeding to St. Peter &  Paul's Church.
