Mary Gaffney (Máire ní Gamhna) (née McConnell), Rockfield Park and formerly of Hale Street, Ardee, Co. Louth. Peacefully on Sunday, 25th January 2026 under the loving care of the wonderful staff of Moorehall Lodge, Ardee.

Mary is predeceased by her husband Edmund, her parents Thomas and Bridget, her sisters Margaret, Teresa, Nuala, Annie and Delia. She will be sadly missed by her much loved and devoted children sons Seamus, Conall and Eamonn and daughters Maura and Siobhán, daughters-in-law Catherine and Oonagh and son-in-law Eddie, her cherished grandchildren Aisling, Fiona, Cian, Eimear, Conor and Saoirse, great-grandchildren Evie, Savanna, Ezekiel, Reuben, Sorcha, Éabha,

Mary will repose at Finlay's Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, Co. Louth (Eircode A92 TW68) on Tuesday (27th) from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Home Private on Wednesday Morning Please. Removal on Wednesday (28th) leaving Finlay's Funeral Home at 9:45am on foot to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady Ardee arriving for 10am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.
