Mary (Maisie) O'KANE
(née Doherty)
Mary (Maisie) O’Kane (nee Doherty) Chestnut Drive, Mullingar and formerly of Strabane, Co. Tyrone, August 29, 2021, unexpectedly (but peacefully) in the excellent care of the staff and nurses at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar; pre-deceased by her beloved husband and best friend Maurice and cherished daughter Julie, Maisie will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Laura, her sister Carol, adored grandson Richard, son-in-law Tony and her little pup Cengiz, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

A private family Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday September 2, at 11 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Cockhill, Buncranna, Co. Donegal, followed afterwards by burial in Derry City Cemetery.

In accordance with current guidelines, the wake and funeral are strictly private to family and close friends, with a maximum of 50 people permitted.
