SCANNELL (Woolhara Park, Douglas, Cork): On February 21st 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully at home, MARY (Mattie, née Baxter), dearly loved wife of the late Lt. Col. Patrick Scannell Ret’d, loving mother of Pat (Jnr), Fiona and Barbara, dear sister of Olive, Noelle and the late Doris (Mary) and Gregor.

Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Maurice, daughter-in-law Kay, grandchildren Gillian, Amy, Paul, Elizabeth and Sarah, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Monday (February 26th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (February 27th) in the Church Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinlough, which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea.
