Mary Maughan (née Wehrley), Shore Road, Belmullet, Co. Mayo, peacefully, after a short illness borne bravely, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Galway Clinic, surrounded by her loving family on 24thNovember 2025.

Beloved wife of Frank (recently deceased) and dear mother of Karen, John, Emer and Elaine. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken children, adored grandchildren Jack, Laura, Dylan, Grace, Daragh, Isabella, Lauren, Thomas, Lucas and Clara, sons in law Paul, Pat and Mamadou, daughter in law Siobhan, only brother Vincent, and sisters in law Kay, Ethna, Dymphna, Mairead and Julia, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many dear friends.

Mary is predeceased by Frank, her parents James and Ann (Nan) Wehrley, her uncles Dom and Andy Hastings and her aunt Mary Hastings.

May her generous and beautiful soul rest in peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Wednesday, 26th November from 6.30 – 8.30pm. Funeral will arrive in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
