Mary (Maura) COWAN
(née Purcell)
Mary (Maura) Cowan, (née Purcell), 8 Millennium Court, Tullow Rd, Carlow and formerly of Marino, Dublin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on October 26th, 2024, in The District Hospital, Carlow.
Beloved wife of Alexander, much loved mother of Alan and Alison, adored grandmother of Lucy and Luke and cherished sister of Eamon, Ann, Seamus, Francis, Orla and the late Billy.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law David, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Maura’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home, 8 Millennium Court, Tullow Rd., Carlow (Eircode R93 R9HO) on Friday, November 1st, from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in The Holy Family Church, Askea, followed by funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium, arriving for Cremation Service at 1.30pm.
