The death has occurred of Mary (Maureen) Burke nee Higgins, Ballyhard, Glenamaddy, Co.Galway on the 28th February 2025 peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her loving husband Johnny, baby son Sean, brothers Sonny, Tom and Paddy, sisters Eileen and Bridie, her grandson Martin, and her great grandsons Killian and Conor.
Sadly missed by her sons Michael and Tommy, daughters, Mary and Julie, sister Kathleen (UK) daughter-in-law Eileen, son-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Teresa Higgins and Teresa Maziarz (USA), her 23 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE
Reposing at Glenamaddy Community Centre on Sunday 02nd March from 5pm to 8pm. Removal from her residence on Monday 03rd March to arrive at St.Particks Church, Glenamaddy for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Glenamaddy New Cemetery.
Donations if desired to Galway Community Hospice
