Mary (Maureen) Giblin, neé Basquil, Kilgarve, Rooskey, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Co. Mayo, March 25th 2026, peacefully in the care of the staff of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary Basquil, brothers and sisters.

Survived by her loving husband Edward, son Eamonn, daughters Pamela (Fox, London) Bernadette (McCollum, New Jersey) and Ann (Quinn, New Jersey), her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, her sister Peggy Tunney, sons-in-law Barry, Eddie and Tom, daughter-in-law Hilda, nieces and nephews, extended family, many good friends and kind neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home at Kilgarve, Rooskey, on Thursday 26th March from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. House private outside of reposing hours please. Removal from her home on Friday 27th March, to arrive to Sacred Heart Church, Kilglass for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in Scramogue Cemetery.
