Mary (Maureen) SUNDERLAND
(née Corcoran)
Mary (Maureen) Sunderland (née Corcoran) of 25 Pacelli Avenue, Graiguecullen, Carlow and formerly Kill, Tullow, Co Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in her 99th year, on August 13th, 2025, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Hillview Nursing Home, Tullow Rd., Carlow.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas and much loved mother of Colette, Eamonn, Mary, Caroline, Gerard, Catherine and Thomas.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, her 19 grandchildren and her 19 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister Theresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
May Mary’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Friday (August 15th) from 4pm until 7pm with Prayers at 6pm that evening. Removal from there on Saturday at 10.40am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
