Mary (May) Murray (née Byrne) of New Vale, Shankill, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully, in her 100th year, on Saturday 19th June 2021, at Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, Tommy, son Phil and sister Pauline. Adored by her son Tom, daughter Val, daughter-in-law Anne, grandchildren Rachael and Rebecca, Báetán and Freya. Sadly missed by Derek, Sarah, Ciara and Niamh, Joe, Pat and family. Fondly remembered by a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
May’s family wish to thank the wonderful staff and management at Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray, for the incredible care May received over the last 7 years.
On Tuesday 22nd of June at 10.30am, May’s funeral cortege will leave from her residence in New Vale, walking to St. Anne’s Church, Shankill arriving at 10.50am for a Requiem Mass (limited to 50 people) at 11.00am which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/shankill followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
