Mary McCarthy
(née Harrington)
McCarthy, (nee Harrington),Curragh East, Trafrask, Adrigole, Co.Cork on the 29th May 2023, After a short illness borne bravely, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family under the warm care of the staff of GB ward at Cork University Hospital. MARY. Predeceased by her father Jeremiah Harrington and brother Lawrence Christopher.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Gerard, heartbroken children Damian, Jacinta, Elaine, Jacinta's partner Stephen, Mother Rose, brother John, Sisters Kathleen, Geraldine, Johns' wife Eilish, Kathleen's husband Liam, Geraldine's partner Tim. Greatly missed by her Aunt Sister Constance, nieces and nephews Sean, Michael, Melissa, Jamie, Conor. Jack, Michaela and Zoe. Sean's wife Fiona, Michael wife Suzanne Sadly missed by her sister in laws Grace and Anne, Grand nieces and nephews, Sean Og, Sophie, Abbie, Cillian, Liam.
Reposing In Harrington’s Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Wednesday (31st May) from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to her home.
HOUSE PRIVATE.
Requiem mass will take place in St.Fachtna’s Church, Adrigole at 11am on Thursday (1st June) followed by burial in Kilcaskin Cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed on the attached link https://corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral cortège will leave Mary’s home at approximately 10.30am.
