Mary McCarthy
(née Spillane)
Mary McCarthy (née Spillane) (Gortatagart, Colomane West and formerly of Loughbofinna, Bantry): On January 9th, 2022, in the tender care of the staff of Bantry General Hospital, MARY, predeceased by her husband Tim and infant son Daniel, her brother Daniel and sister Janie. Sadly missed by her loving relatives, John and Anne O’Leary and their children Muireann and Tim, her sister-in-law Sr. Elizabeth (Lily) McCarthy D.M.J., the Spillane, O’Leary and McCarthy nephews and nieces and their families, cousins, kind neighbours, friends and carers.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing in Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry on Monday Jan. 10th from 6.30pm followed by prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday Jan. 11th at 12noon in St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (livestreamed on bantryparish.ie) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
Following Government and HSE guidelines, please wear a face mask if attending the funeral home or the Requiem Mass and please refrain from shaking hands with family members. Thank you for you co-operation at this difficult time.
