Mary McGovern (née Lennon) Cattan, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Drumbad, Ballinamuck, Co. Longford, peacefully on July 30th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of The Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Predeceased by her beloved husband John McGovern, her parents James and Rose- Ann and brothers Frank and James.

Beloved Mother of Geraldine, Annette, Fidelma, Deirdre, Marion, Raymond and Padraig, sadly missed by her sister Nellie, brother Michael, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, adored sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, much loved cousins, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Kellys Funeral Home, Athlone Road, Longford (Eircode N39 K381) this Friday, August 1st, from 4:30pm concluding with prayers at 7pm

Funeral Mass on Saturday August 2nd, in St. Mary’s Church, Gortletteragh at 12 o’clock, followed by burial in Gortletteragh Cemetery.
