Mary Melia (née Clarke) “Innisfáil” Blackrock, Co Louth. In her 90th year. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 19th December 2020. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Pre-deceased by daughters Barbara, Jill and granddaughter Jill. Dear mother of Audrey (Kasselis), Maureen (Sheridan), Oonagh (Quinn), Pauline (O’Connell), Denis and Siobhán (McCarthy). sons in law Serge, Hugh, Edmund, Conor and the late Tom O'Connell and Denis’ partner Anne. Granny will be sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, also by her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Covid restrictions the Family home is private.

Due to Government guidelines, Mary’s Funeral will take place privately on Tuesday at 3pm in St Fursey’s Church Haggardstown  followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.  The Mass and can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/Haggardstown 

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Mary’s cortège will pass the family home and walk down the Village, on the way to the church.  Please keep your social distance. Her family understand and appreciate that people would like to offer their condolences.  Please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book at the bottom of this page.
