Mary (Mollie) Connell

The death has occurred of Mary (Mollie) Connell, Crowenstown, Delvin, Co. Westmeath on the 10th October 2025 in her 96th year, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff and her loving family at St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home, Athboy.

Predeceased by her husband Bernard and son-in-law Pat, parents Philip and Elizabeth, brothers Paddy, John and Michael.

Loving mother of Breda (Dennehy), Betty, Jimmy, Angela (Murray), Philip and Margaret (Mattimoe).

Mollie will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law Frank and John, Betty's partner Derek, daughter-in-law Mary, her adored grandchildren Cillian, Niall, Nicola, Graham, James, Simon, Anna and David, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Mollie's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, O'Growney St., Athboy (eircode C15 KW58) on Sunday evening from 4pm followed by prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin at 11am followed by burial in Crowenstown cemetery.

Family flowers only.
