Mary Monica Monahan (nee Kelly), 'Avila' Labane, Ardrahan and formerly 'St. Johns' Clarinbridge, Co. Galway. 31st January 2021, in her 101st year, following a long illness, bravely borne with dignity in the exceptional care of the staff at Milford Care Centre, Castletroy, Limerick.
Predeceased in 1990 by her husband Pat, her sisters Peggy Mulvey and Kitty McDonagh and her brothers Tom, Billy and Gerard Kelly. Deeply mourned and forever held dear by her daughters Agnes O'Driscoll, Limerick and Mona Monahan Albertini, Labane, sons-in-law Diarmuid and Jesse, grandchildren Neil, Ciara, Diarmuid, Úna, Leah and Ross, great grandchildren Ódhran, Fionn and Alia, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

In accordance with Government guidelines and restrictions regarding public gatherings, Mary's funeral will take place in private attended by her family only on Tuesday 2nd of February in St. Teresa's Church Labane at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Labane Cemetery.

We understand that many of Mary's neighbours and friends would have liked to be with us as we say our final goodbyes, but it is better that everyone stay safe and well and be with us in the not too distant future to remember and swap stories of Mary at her memorial Mass.
