(née Hennigan)

Newton Mearns, Glasgow and formerly of Scart, Milford, Cork

Mary Morton (née Hennigan) passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2026 after bravely battling an illness, at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, under the tender loving care of her family and hospital staff.

 

Late of Newton Mearns, Glasgow, and formerly of Scart, Milford, Co. Cork. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Brigid Hennigan, brother John, and more recently, brother Pat.

 

Mary will be very sadly missed by her beloved husband Jim, her loving children, Fraser, and wife Helen, Siobhán, and partner Al, their son Ewan, the only grandchild. Deeply regretted by her sister Delia Quinn (née Hennigan), brother Frank Hennigan, sister Áine Hennigan, brothers in law Brian Morton and Frank (Quinn), sister in law Joan (Hennigan), nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Fosters Funeral Directors on Thursday 5th February from 2pm to 4pm for visitation. Funeral Service at 2pm on 6th February at The Hurlet Crematorium, Glasgow Road, East Renfrewshire, G537TH (0044 141 286 0536).
