Mary MURPHY

Mary Murphy (née Dowling) of 113 New Oak Estate and formerly of 198 Whitney Place Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on March 12th, 2025, under the exceptional care of The Suir Ward, St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mickey), much loved mother of Diane, Don, Jean and the late Nicola, adored grandmother of Kayleigh, Ellie, Anthony and Charles and cherished sister of Larry, Geraldine, John and the late Sheila, Nancy and Jim.

She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Tony, Diane’s partner Pat and the Griffin girls, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Mary’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at her home, 113 New Oak Estate, Carlow (Eircode R93 P8D9) from 3pm on Friday, March 14th, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal from there on Saturday morning at 10.30am to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Sq for Cremation Service at 12.45pm.
