Mary Murphy, (née Mackey), Portnard, Cappamore, Co Limerick. 17th March 2025, peacefully in the presence of her family, in the excellent care of the staff at St Anthony’s Nursing Home, Pallasgreen, in her 98th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Ned, sons Andy and Denny, infant daughter Mary, infant grandson Anthony, parents Mick & Catherine, and siblings Andy, Judy, Peggy and Jack. Mary will be sadly missed by her daughters Mary O’Brien (Doneraile), Sally Barry (Cappawhite) and Kathleen Treacy (Doon), sons, Eddie (Cappamore), Mike (Rearcross), Dan (Manchester), John (Caherconlish) and Paddy (Cappamore), grandchildren and their partners, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, sons in law, daughters in law, nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport, on Wednesday 19th March from

5.30 p.m.-7.30 p.m.

Arrival for Requiem Mass on Thursday 20th March at 11.30 a.m. in St Michael’s Church, Cappamore followed by burial in Ballinure Cemetery.
